"We’ve been with State Farm for years, but once John became our rep, everything fell apart. He speaks down to you and makes it painfully clear he has zero interest in helping with anything related to your policy. Every phone call is treated like a huge inconvenience to him. We’ve heard him in the background telling the secretary, Ema, to cut us short, and she then fails to pass our information along to the managers. He’s lied about our policy and coverages, tried to talk us out of necessary changes to avoid work, and even hung up on us. I have spoken to other State Farm offices, and they’ve confirmed he lacks the knowledge to do his job properly. If you want to be treated with disrespect and disregard, John at Mike Devine is your guy."

"Unfortunately, my experience with John at State Farm was disappointing. From the beginning, there was a clear lack of knowledge about policy details and procedures, which made it hard to trust the guidance I was getting. On top of that, communication was frustrating — responses were slow or didn’t come at all, even when I had urgent questions.

What made it worse was the overall lack of basic customer service. I wasn’t treated like a valued client, and getting help felt like pulling teeth. I chose State Farm because they’re known for offering excellent insurance, but the experience I had with this agent fell way short of what I expected.

If you’re considering State Farm, I’d recommend the company — just choose a different agent who takes their role and your time seriously."
